Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not use alt.qa for. In short: only test what you own or are authorised to test.

In plain English

  • Only test properties you own or have written authority to test.
  • No live payments, no CAPTCHA or bot-wall bypass, no scraping of third parties.
  • Breaches lead to immediate suspension of runs.

1. Allowed

  • Testing your own websites, apps and staging environments.
  • Testing a client’s property with their written authorisation (agencies, SIs).
  • Reading the public Alt Benchmark and using it with attribution.

2. Not allowed

  • Testing properties you do not control or lack authority for.
  • Attempting to complete real payments or purchases.
  • Circumventing CAPTCHAs, rate limits, bot management or access controls.
  • Using alt.qa to scrape, stress or disrupt third-party services.
  • Creating accounts on third-party services with our agents.
  • Using outputs for Annex III high-risk decisions about individuals.

3. Enforcement

We may pause or terminate runs immediately and notify the affected property owner. Report abuse to [email protected].
